601 Deli and Catering, opened in September 2003. In
the time that followed, we have established
ourselves in the catering community, providing services to all clients
from a simple drop off menu to a fully catered event. We are a family
owned and operated establishment specializing in custom catering for the
private and corporate sectors.
Our mission is to provide top quality food and memorable service.
With over 15 years of foodservice experience, 601 Deli and Catering has
the special skills to make your next event a success. Remember, we make
all our food the old-fashioned way - from scratch with the highest
quality ingredients. With a strong culinary background of
Italian-American and international dishes, our menus are limited only by
your imagination. To us, appearance is almost as important as taste.
Therefore, whenever appropriate, each selection is decorated and ready
to serve.

variety of choices we offer. Menus are offered by the tray or by per
person pricing. This menu lists only a sampling of our most popular
items. If something does not appear here, please ask!

General Information
601 Deli and Catering
is open for lunch Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm. We cater 7 days
a week. If our line is busy when you call, please consider sending us a
fax at (203) 626-0007 regarding your next event, small or big.
Ordering Guidelines
Seasonal Changes
Some prices may vary with seasonal availability and fluctuating costs. You
will be advised of any changes when you place your order.
Paper & Plastic
Products
We'll be happy to supply you with disposable single-service items (paper
plates, napkins, plastic cutlery, etc.) for a nominal charge. Please let
us know in advance what your requirements are.
Pick-Up / Delivery
You can make arrangements to pick up your order at a time that suits you,
normally between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm (earlier or later times
may be possible, too).
Delivery is pretty much just that, bringing your order to your location!
If you'd like us to assist in setting up your event, please let us know in
advance how we can help you. Delivery charges outside the local area, or
to sites with problematic access or parking, start at $10. (Sorry, but we
cannot deliver any order under $125.)
Payment & Billing

We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, corporate checks, personal
checks and cash. Checks returned for insufficient funds are subject to
fees.
Corporate Customers
We can provide different payment options for our corporate clients
who order weekly. Please advise us upon ordering what is best for your
event. We will bring an invoice on delivery. First time corporate customers
are COD. All corporate invoices are net 7 days.
Our Cancellation Policy :(
Orders
cancelled with at least a 48 hour notice will not be charged.
Catering orders
cancelled less than 2 full business days before the scheduled event will
be charged a maximum of 50% of the total invoice, or a lesser charge to
cover rental goods, foods that cannot be used, labor, and events we may have
declined in order to accommodate yours. The determination of which level
of charges will be at the discretion of 601 Deli and Catering.
Orders that are
cancelled less than one full business day before the scheduled event will
be charged a maximum of 80% of the total invoice or a lesser charge to
cover rental goods, goods that cannot be used, labor, and jobs we may have
declined in order to accommodate yours.
We will not
decrease food orders with less than two full business days' notice prior
to the event date. On larger orders, more notice is required, depending on
the scope of the event.
Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with an
item, please contact us immediately for a refund of that item. If poor
service or the result of a poor product creates an inconvenience, an
additional refund of the food and beverage will be deducted. All returns
are to be handled within 24 hours of notification.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if
anything was not to your satisfaction. We pride ourselves on being our
best, but no one can be perfect all the time. What makes a great company
is how it accepts responsibility, makes a financial correction, and works
on eliminating the problem in the future.
