food, you can expect friendly and efficient service from our well-trained and

Why should I choose 601 Deli and Catering for my
catering needs?
Simply stated, you have to experience the difference that is 601 Deli

Do you have a minimum order?
No. We prefer to cater for 20 or more guests, and as you will note,
our sample pricing is based on a minimum number of guests. We will, however,
accommodate any number of guests from 2 to 500.

Do you deliver?
Of course! Our corporate clients really enjoy the service we describe
as ‘delivery, set-up and pick-up’. We arrive before your guests, set-up your
buffet or station, and make sure you have everything you need from tongs to
chafing dishes. We will then return after your event to pick it all up again.

Where does 601 Deli and Catering deliver?
Regular deliveries are made in the New Haven County area. If you are
located outside this delivery area, an additional delivery fee may apply.

What should I expect the day of delivery?
Your food will be delivered by one of our uniformed staff within a
15-minute delivery window, elegantly presented on decorative trays, attractive
bowls or ornate baskets - including all appropriate serving utensils. Meals are
delivered ready to be served buffet style, including all appropriate condiments.
Heavy duty disposable plates, napkins, plastic knives, forks, and spoons can be
provided for a nominal fee.
Upon arrival, your driver will contact you to let you know they have arrived,
deliver your meal to the designated location, unwrap the food as appropriate,
light Sterno if applicable, confirm accuracy of food and equipment delivery -
then leave as quietly as they arrived.
Unless otherwise requested, we will return the following day to retrieve all
equipment if needed. If you prefer a same day pick-up, just let us know. No
extra charge. (Except on weekends or after hours events.)

How do I arrange delivery to a secure building?
Our delivery coordinator will discuss with you the best solution to
your particular delivery challenges. Many companies prefer to take members of
our staff
through their security clearance process. Let us know what is best for you.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We gladly accept cash, corporate or personal check, MasterCard, Visa,
American Express or Discover charge cards. We will be happy to establish
a corporate account for your convenience for weekly orders.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?
In an ideal world, all of our orders would be placed, confirmed and
booked
two weeks in advance. But in the real world, we know that last minute meetings
can’t be avoided and important business contacts come in to town on a
moment’s notice! We will always do our best to accommodate your needs.
Flexibility with your menu can help in a last minute situation, but certainly 48
hours to one-week advance notice is acceptable for most corporate orders.

What about other special requests?
You've probably heard the saying, "cater to your needs." That's just
what we do! If you can dream it up, our staff can make it reality. Our culinary
team loves a good challenge, so just because an item may not be on the menu
doesn't mean you can't request it. Ask your service representative for more
details.

Upgraded Corporate Service.
A simple request that takes your corporate service to the next tier.
Service includes china, glass and silver, linen napkins, ice bucket and scoop,
buffet linen, salt and pepper shakers, glass coffee mugs and rolling butler
service. Charged per guest plus additional delivery fee. (Server required for
groups of 35 or more.)

What other services does 601 Deli and Catering
offer?
From 10 to 300 guests - we have the experience. Menus from sandwiches
to multiple course meals, we have the expertise. From the boardroom to the
backyard, we are your off-premise specialist. 601 Deli and Catering's team will
meet with you to help coordinate your needs.

Cancellation Policy
In order to assure the highest quality available, every 601 Deli and
Catering
event is prepared to order. We have no way to re-use your food; therefore
we must request 48 hour notice to cancel any event.
Orders cancelled with at least a 48 hour notice will not be charged. Catering
orders cancelled less than 2 full business days before the scheduled event will
be charged a maximum of 50% of the total invoice, or a lesser charge to cover
rental goods, foods that cannot be used, labor, and events we may have
declined in order to accommodate yours. The level of charges will be at the
discretion of 601 Deli and Catering.
We will not decrease food orders with less than two full business days'
notice prior to the event date. On larger orders, more notice is required,
depending on the scope of the event.

Return Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with an item, please contact us
immediately for a refund of that item. If poor service or the result of a poor
product creates an inconvenience, an additional refund of the food and beverage
will be deducted. All returns are to be handled within 24 hours of notification.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if anything was not to your
satisfaction. We pride ourselves on being our best, but no one can be perfect
all the time. What makes a great company is how it accepts responsibility, makes
a financial correction, and works on eliminating the problem in the future.

Will I have enough food?
We double-check final guest counts and portion food on an individual
event-basis. If accurate guest counts are given, you will most certainly not run
out of food.

Can you work with my limited budget?
Economy certainly works on a scale. That is why each and every event
is priced individually. The way to save with a corporate budget is to use us
frequently. If you have several events in one day, or even in one week, by using
601 Deli and Catering for frequent events we can pass along significant savings.
If your guest count is over 100, you will receive preferred pricing.
